Michelle Obama Public Library Hires Satanic Drag Queen to Read to Little Kids

A drag queen wearing Satanic horns was hired to read to the community’s little children by the Michelle Obama Public Library of Long Beach, California, all to help the kiddies celebrate LGBTQ History Month.

No, this isn’t a headline from The Onion. It is real. It really happened… even though the library tried to make it go down the Internet memory hole by deleting the entry it had posted to Facebook.

The library posted the story to Facebook, but the photo of a man dressed like a demon and pretending to be a woman shocked nearly everyone who saw it. So, down it came.

GatewayPundit, though, grabbed the image before it disappeared:

Even though the library removed the story featuring the photo of the horned beast they hired to read to kids, the drag queen himself posted to Instagram how pleased he was to be picked to read to the kiddos.

The drag queen, who goes by the nonsense name of Xochi Mochi, was all excited that he was given the opportunity to “normalize” satanic drag queens everywhere.

I got to read to the children today and it was one of the best experiences I’ve been given as a drag queen. It’s so important to have representation and normalize all the letters in LGBTQIA+ in everyday lives. I saw so many excited faces it filled my heart with so much joy and hope to come back again soon! Thanks again to everybody who made this opportunity a reality and make such a successful LGBT event

Here is how the library described the event before the October 14 reading:

Location: Michelle Obama Library Date: 10/14/2017 Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Join us for a celebration of LGBTQ History Month! All ages welcome! Celebration will include: Drag Queen Story Hour featuring Xochi Mochi at 12pm, a community art hour at 1pm and an LGBTQ History Timeline Workshop starting at 2pm. Brought to you by a collaboration between the Long Beach Public Library, The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach, the GSA Network and The Imperial Court of Long Beach.

Unsurprisingly, the Church of Satan tweeted out its approval of the event:

On the other hand, a local candidate for office was not very pleased by the event, as Gateway noted:

Republican Congressional candidate Omar Navarro, who is challenging incumbent Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters, said about the reading, “What are we teaching kids in school? Demonic teachings alive in Long Beach. I’m outraged they would allow this.”

Now, there was a day not long ago (what, maybe 10 years ago) when a story like this would have been obvious as a piece of satire.

Who would be sick enough to allow a demon-horned, weirdo like this read to kids? As if it were all perfectly normal? But today, there doesn’t seem to be any deviancy that the left won’t willingly expose children to.

And at a library named after a former first lady of the United States, on top of it all.

Don’t think this library is alone, though. This year I wrote about libraries in New York City and Los Angeles hiring drag queens (though not ones sporting Satan horns, granted).

Here’s the video of the drag queen in New York getting ready to meet the kids there:
